I purchased these to replace batteries in a pair of old APC brand UPS i had laying around. They are plug and play and have performed flawlessly. Nowhere in the sales ad do they say they are new or used (i was apprehensive about buying them because i dont want used) but they look brand new.

I have an old OptiUPS 550C which required a new battery. Ordered one based on a good review of a seller and product and the fact that the model number matches the old battery.

When the item arrived it looked like a used one or re-cycled. I have no problem with this but it would be nice to have a disclaimer on the product page to clarify this.

Another thing to pay attention to is the width of the terminals on this battery. The one I've received has narrower terminals comparing to the original battery.

This battery came at a great price, well below the price of local supliers. It works well and has been in use for at least six months now.
