UPDATE: 04/21/08 I got what I paid for. After using it for less than a month, it randomly stopped working. I have not damaged the charger in any way. It has remained in my car and has not been exposed to extreme temperatures or even sunlight! Buyer beware, even if you are on a tight budget, you need to get a charger that is at least a little more expensive than this one...

It works great and I keep my phone plugged in to it while I drive 2 1/2 hrs to San Francisco. I use my blue-tooth ear piece which can drain the battery fast on the phone. I've used it with Google maps running and talking on the phone at the same time. When I get to SF, the battery is fully charged and ready to go.. Good price as well.
