It does not seat in the player properly, therefore it comes out easily and frequently. The original adapter clicked into place and had to be pulled out.

We had several problems with the OEM version of this power cord getting a replacement for the first one while it was still under warranty (Philips was great about replacing it). Unfortunately, the replacement only lasted a few months before it started giving out. This charger works great and has lasted longer than either OEM charger. Recommended as a viable and affordable alternative.

Got this because the original charger cable got frayed and the bare wire was exposed. This cable is a lot thicker and is just as long. I like that this cable also has a indicator light for when the socket is active.
