I bought this charger for my Sanyo VI-2300 cell phone at a ridiculously low price from Amazon! It stopped working after about 6 months. Since I didn't spend a lot on it, and it was still available through Amazon, I decide to see if I could fix it (worst case scenario: I buy another one!). I opened it up (very easy to do), and discovered that a plastic retaining piece had melted, causing it to fail (probably a fail-safe, in case it overheated). As an electronics hobbyist, it took me about 15 minutes to figure out a workaround and put it back together, and it has been working great ever since! Considering that I enjoy fixing things, I have no problem giving this a thumbs up!

This charger was an exact replacement for the one I've had for years. Hard to find anywhere else as I have a 6 year old cell phone and I did not think anyone still had the cig lighter charger anymore.
