This is a slick little dual charger. I bought it to charge my iPad in the car and it works beautifully. An added bonus is the beautiful blue indicator light, it has nothing to do with its function but it does shed a lovely light.

Had it for a few hours thought it was working, but wasn't charging, later started smoking and finally melted. Thankfully I was in my car when it happened. Spend your $$$ on a name brand one, trust me!

If you need the extra amperage for faster charging this performs very well. Serves my wife's needs for charging her Kindle Fire very well while traveling. Her OEM adapter did not do a very good job at travel charging (very slow) and almost could not keep up with the Kindle in use. This adapter fixed that charging her Kindle Fire in record time even while in constant use while traveling. Highly recommend.
