I would have thought that an OEM charger would work better than most but if you are using Google Maps or Waze while trying to charge the battery, it will barely keep up. Otherwise if you are just going to use as a charger when the phone is not in use it works.

It seems like every power cord these days is too short, and this one is no exception. It needs to be another 6 inches longer (that's what she said). But really, it does.

The connector fits in my Samsung Galaxy S4 and this device charges the phone without any problems. There is a small label with tiny printing near the base of the 12 volt plug, which has the Samsung logo on it and states that this charger was made in China. It also states that the power output is 5 volts, the same output produced by the OEM wall charger that came with my Galaxy S4.

This product is reasonably priced and gets the job done.

This plug only puts out 0.7 amps. The S3 requires a 1.0 amp plug charger and the S4 uses a plug charger that puts out 2.0 amps. These phones demand more power than this car charger puts out. I read a review saying it puts out the 2 amps but this was not accurate and the plug is labeled for only 0.7 amps. It was also damaged when received. Also arrived after 4 days even with 2 days promised by using Amazon Prime membership.
