I bought this adapter to use with a Petmate Le Bistro automatic feeder. The feeder itself does not list the polarity of the socket, but I was able to find that the socket is center-positive, which is how the adapter comes from the manufacturer. Plugged it in, worked right away! Very easy to use.

Perfect for LeBistro. Worked great for three months, then stopped working. From other reviews, sounds like some work a long time and others do not. Don't know why, maybe quality control issue with manufacturer? It does appear that Amazon will refund if DOA. Not sure about longer periods of use. Under the circumstances, buyer's decision whether to take a chance on the individual adapter that they receive.
