Charges and heats fast and keeps my daughter warm when she walks to the bus stop and stuff like that. I think she has used it 30min at a time maximum, but it is perfect so far.

As the other reviewer indicated, you might want to size up. X-SM fits perfectly over shirt and hoodie and under coat on my daughter, but she is 5'2 82lbs.

Love the color and the fabric. Sizing runs small--the XL is a bit tight on me and should have been plenty big for layering. But I'll just wear it under my jacket instead of over. Great customer support from the vendor, so I'm happy with the purchase. The problem that I had to write to them about was on how to work the heater. The little instruction booklet clearly shows that there would be a little controller in addition to the battery, but there was none. The battery looked like it should control things, but I was trying to follow the instructions. So with no controller, I figured I'd just try anyway with the battery but the lights would go on and then off again, no heat. So I wrote the vendor through this site and received a reply within a few hours with exact instructions on how to use the battery to control the heat. I just hadn't been holding the button down long enough. So for those of you who buy this, once you charge up the battery and plug it into the vest, you hold the button down for several seconds (3-5) until the lights come on and stay on. Then you click the button until the lights show the right level of heat. I'll come back and report again if there's any trouble with keeping the heat on for an entire round of golf.

I can't stand being cold. It actually hurts. My back clenches tightly around my spine and I am so physically uncomfortable that the only thing I can think about in the cold is how cold I feel. This winter, however, was something different because of this vest. The only reason I have survived this cold winter is because of this amazing vest. It has changed my life! My legs and feet still get cold BUT it is completely bearable. After owning it, I couldn't imagine living without it.

The jacket works well. The battery lasts about four hours on medium or high. It also runs true to size which was a problem with others I have had.
