I installed the Tektrum 48V Charge controller on my new NEV "Neighborhood Electric Vehicle" to charge the batteries during the day. I installed (2) 250W Solar panels in series to have enough DC voltage to initialize the Tektrum Charge controller. Now, when the sun is out the solar panels are providing 400W of charging power.
