This thing does what it is advertised to do. It will charge your phone in your car. As a pizza delivery driver, I use my LG Optimus slider primarily for the Navigation feature. That tends to drain the battery on it pretty quick, and I can't have my phone die before the end of my shift. So I bought this thing for a solution but a few weeks later it's kinda broken. The cord that is connected to the micro USB bit that goes into the phone has separated and now it will only charge my phone if I hold in certain positions. I imagine it would work fine for someone who wasn't as rough on their things as I am. But with how cheap this thing is, I'd still say it's worth the money.

Got this for my cellphone, since I forget to charge my phone when I'm home half the time. The charger plugs in with relative ease and have no problems pop up. The only problem I have had with it is that the two locking clips on the side are a bit stiff, so I gotta really push to get the charger into the car's lighter port. Other than that, no problems what so ever.

I like how securely it fits into my cigarette lighter. The micro usb port is also very secure,and I don't worry about it coming loose. Quite nice.
