This plug worked fine for a month. I did notice my (5th Gen) Nano was on the warm side after charging, but thought nothing of it. One day my Nano was super hot after charging and never worked again. I figured it was a Nano issue like all the 1st gens that are being recalled. My father-in-law visited yesterday, borrowed this charger and his 4 month old 6th gen Nano died within a half hour. It was too hot to pickup, and never worked again. (Tried every troubleshooting step) tl;dtr: Learn from my mistake: Don't trust your $150 iPod to a $2 wall charger.

The stupid chargers just simply don't work. They aren't able to charge my iPhone, which is what they're marketed to do. Worst.

Works well. Bought it to use with my USB powered desktop aquarium. When I shut my laptop down or take it with me I just plus the aquarium into this charger.adapter to keep it going. I recommend using one of these for any USB powered devices when you shut you computer down, but still need power to that standalone device.
