I got this kit with the assumption that I could download pictures from my phone to my computer. Nope. The USB is only for charging the phone batteries. Eventually I learned that to get pics from phone to computer is via a micro SD card (it's about the size of your pinky fingernail). I purchased a 16 GB so I'd have plenty of memory for video clips. I also had to get a card adapter (it came with the micro SD card) & a micro SD Reader/Writer (It plugs directly into the PC with the adapter plugged into it & the micro SD plugged into the adapter). The PC will recognize it once it's plugged in & will walk you through the download. It's very simple once you get on to it. Maybe this info will be useful to someone that's as perplexed as I was about how to move pictures from phone to PC.
