Doesnt charge well with Galaxy S4. Battery capacity is 2600mA, and this product only puts out 660mA/hour, meaning it would take just under 4 hours to fully charge. This is using a 12V output on a 2013 car.

For reference, the charger that came with the phone, plugged into the wall, puts out 1900mA/hour. So about 1.4 hours to fully charge from 0%.

I would've expected at least 1000mA/hour with this "high grade" rapid LED charger.

Excellent product, works as described. Having the Samsung Galaxy Note II phone it requires specific charge units. I actually tried a few other ones on the market and they did not charge the Samsung phone. Like Apple many special requirements where you have to buy specific products that are made to work with them. Not a knock at any brand just the trend on the big players and a way to make some extra cash. It's business at it's best. What is great about this charger is fits several brands w/o any issues. The same connection port is on the Motorola Droid series as well as my work Blackberry Bold series. It's great for $12 I have a portable charger for all vehicles I use or get into. To buy the car chargers for your specific phone model at a store, especially phone stores (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T) they charge $39.95 or higher. All I can say is this product works great and charges many brand devices and I think it is a great buy from my experiences.

This charger is garbage. I plugged this charger into my Galaxy Note 2 in Dallas, TX. My phone was at 97% when I plugged it in. Two hours later, in Madisonville, TX, my phone was at 94%. I unplugged this charger and plugged in a mini USB cable I purchased from my carrier for my old Droid Bionic and plugged that cable into a dual USB cigarette lighter charger. My phone was at 100% in 20 minutes. I also noticed that prior to my trip, this charger was charging my Galaxy Note 2 extremely slow.

This does not charge my Galaxy note 2. It, instead, keeps a form of stagnant power flow that, should your phone be on it's last bar will only affect it by keeping it alive while it is plugged in. There is no retained charge of power beyond 1 or 2 percent increase.
