These chargers work excellent with the Nitecore batteries as well as with other Li-ion, Ni-MH or Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries. Each bay has an indicator light so you know charging is progressing. When charging just two batteries, be sure to place the batteries in slots 1 & 3 or 2 & 4. I would recommend this production to anyone that needs a high quality 4 bay charger.

I just unpacked the product and I am charging the batteries for the first time. I could not find any instructions on the battery packaging or the Intellicharger i4 letting me know if the batteries come fully charged or not. I decided to charge them and it appears the batteries come uncharged.

When charging the batteries, plug the unit in first, pull back on the spring loaded battery holder with 1 hand and insert the battery with your other hand. This is easier than trying to pry back the spring with the battery as you load it. Also you should load the batteries into the charger in pairs when possible, and offset the battery slots so 1 & 3 or 2 & 4.
