Someone else mentioned that it was showing 100ma with no load. Mine does not show that. However, it does show a reading on one of the cycling displays if you are not using a separate power supply. If using the source as the power supply, the unit will be using some power to operate, and thus will not be 100% accurate. But it's negligible for most uses.
Using a calibrated bench power supply, calibrated Fluke meter and known load for comparison, the meter is extremely accurate.
I'm using this to monitor the output of some solar panels feeding a grid tie inverter so that I can calculate the inverter efficiency at different output levels easily. It works very well for that.
The leads are not very long, but are adequate for putting on connectors of your choice.I would suggest using some heavy duty high current ones and then plugging in adapters on those for other connector types if you plan to use this for different things with different types of connectors.
Other than the hard to read back-light, I'm very happy with this and would recommend it.

This is an excellent functional replacement for the popular WattsUP RC power analyzer. The back lighting is both a pro and con, as noted before. However, the fact that this handles up to 130A continuous makes it more usable for higher power (750w and higher) electric bikes (ebikes) and velomobiles.Extremely handy for in line measurements on ebikes. I bought two of these after spending more than double on a WattsUp meter. These are cheap enough to just leave in the circuits for ebikes when they are operating. Do yourself a big favor and use DeOxit D series and DeOxit gold on your contacts and minimize losses by adding the meter in series with the load.
NOTE: like the WattsUp, you only need to put one leg of the meter in series with the load, not both; inserting both with Power Pole connectors is usually easier to do!
Using HP power meter as comparison, the readings are spot on for 10A and above on 24v ebikes. I didn't even bother to check out accuracy on lower currents and voltages. That you can put a 3 AAA pack attached to this to hold all the readings across battery disconnects is great!
