This item is a gem! But I have found one small problem, and that's when you have your phone plugged into the auxiliary jack, and have it charging at the same time. Sometimes (not all the time, I've found) there will be a sort of static sound when both are in at the same time. When it's just the aux, it's nice and clear. (Just for the record, in case it somehow matters, I drive an '03 Corolla)
DO follow the instructions when it says to turn the phone media volume all the way up for best sound quality. It's true! It helps with the slight static noise when you've got both plugged in simultaneously.
Otherwise, this product is nice and small, much better than the iPod Touch FM transmitter I used to have before I got my new DROID 3. Works like a charm and now I can listen to my music on the go!
