We use this for our power lift at work. The previous on board charger would over charge and cook the batteries if we weren't careful. This unit charges perfectly and can be left plugged in for a maintained charge. I own several Battery Tender brand chargers and all are high quality and problem free. I replaced the OEM charger that came with my scooter with the Battery Tender 022-0158-1 Power Tender Plus 24V Battery Charger. I took the old round connector off of the dead OEM charger and connected it to this charger. I have a 1991 BMY M931A2 6X6 5 ton Cargo Army truck which is 24 volt. It is parked at a local RV storage facility and I only get it drive it occasionally. October 23, 2012 I purchased this product, it was the second of this type of battery tender I have owned. Took a few minutes to mount and attach to battery using hand tools.Works great on my 03 Ford F-350 Super-duty highly recommend this product for winter time or any time vehicle has to sit.
