I use the Tripp Lite APSRM4 as a remote battery and function monitor and controller for a Trip Lite 750W inverter in my camper. It has nice looking face plate which provides several mounting options. The Good: This is easy to install and it works just like they said it would. I use mine connected to a TripLite APS1250 in my motorhome. This easily allows me to operate the ASP1250 from a remote location.The Bad: This unit will NOT allow you to turn off the APS1250 when not in use. At best it will only place it into a very low power standby mode. still have to access the ASP1250 to turn it on/off before or after use.
The Ugly: When using the large mounting plate it requires a fairly large hole be made into whatever you are mounting it into. But the plate is much larger then the hole so this is of little consequence.
