because of the low price I was afraid that this might not work. I was wrong. It works great. While I got it primarily to charge my iPod while driving across country, using the cigar adapter, I've also used the A/C adapter for a regular charge when I traveled without a computer. It feels cheap. My Ipad warns it is not being charged.This is scary with a new purchase.But, keep at it. The Ipad is not being truthful.
It works as it is intended to work and does so very cheaply. I am pleased. Very good value.
