product works great except when bears can reach them but thats not the fault of the product. this is the third one ive bought and they work great until the bears got them but i think ive cured that problem.

Purchase this to replace the original one on the feeder. It was amazingly easy to connect the wires to the feeder. Only problem is that the wires do pull out of the little white plastic connector very easily but can be pushed back in just as easily. I wrapped a piece of electrical tape around it once I had it all connected. It seems to be working great as of now.

I bought this one to replace one that is broken. I use solar chargers on my deer feeders. This is about the best on the market, for the price, but it also has it's problems. The plastic mount easily breaks after a couple of years of weather exposure.

That said, It's still one of the better ones and I'll keep buying them as needed.

This developed a hazy coating on the plastic covering the solar cells within a few months, and now sun can't get through. It can't be wiped off, and is either permanent damage to the top surface from the sun, or is condensation built up on the bottom surface. My battery was less than half charged because it can't produce enough electricity. There isn't any warranty information listed otherwise it would be getting returned. Time to find a different brand that works!
