i use this to keep the kids gadgets going on trips over an hour or two... it has 2 wall outlet plugs that will power most anything short of a toast... and if you use the battery jumpers that come with it you can get alot more power (i havent tried those myself)

I chose this model because I could get a 500 Watt band name inverter off Amazon for the same price as a 300 Watt no-name through local retail. I only needed a 300 watt, so I have plenty of reserve power with this inverter. I've only used it a few times so far and it has worked flawlessly. It's quiet and having the batter clips as well as the cig-lighter plug is handy. It tells you what type of devices require the battery clips because of the power draw and possible voltage drop or current protection you could have if running off a cig-lighter.

Only owned it a month now. My only complaint is the device has a VERY bright LED telling you the power is on. Not much power loss in the LED but if you're using this thing at night, you can't miss it. Very bright.
