I have a Honda VTX 1800 with Vance & Hines Big Shots pipes, and also a 150cc scooter. I use this helmet with both bikes, and I have good experiences with both. I have an iPhone, and the helmet connects seamlessly. Audio streaming is great, whether it is from the iPod or other 3rd-party audio streaming apps. Phone functionality is great...couldn't be simpler. One button to answer calls, push the same button again to hang up. Pressing the button twice will redial your last number called. Admittedly, the twisting volume control is a little difficult when wearing bulkier winter gloves. Even at speeds of 50-60mph on my cruiser, people on the other end of my phone call state that they have no problem understanding me. They can tell that I'm not talking into my phone as normal, but there have been no quality complaints (I always use the phone function with the helmet in the "full-face" position). I have not used it with GPS yet, but plan to soon.

Using it for daily commuting, I don't have to charge the battery but once/week (my commute totals 1:15 every day).

The one thing I wish this helmet had is AVRCP controls so that I could pause/skip tracks.

Overall, I love it, and this is the only helmet I have used since I bought it a year ago.

*UPDATE* -I recently bought the Navigon GPS app from the iTunes App Store. The audio streams right into the helmet with no issues! Depending on settings in the app, you can either pause any audio you are listening to, or have the audio duck under the GPS directions. Either way, I'm happy with the way the helmet performs with my GPS app.

The comment I see on most bluetooth helmets is they are not loud enough. You are on a MOTORCYCLE. The idea of the music is a little nice background music. This is not for blasting techno going down the highway at 120. You need to hear stuff around you. This is for riding around town with a little rock music to make you feel cool. My shadow 750 has no cobra pipes or anything that would drown out noise so I can hear music fine over that, but if you have a 1500 with a superloud muffler, I wouldn't count on being able to have a nice conversation. The sound is almost stereo but seems to gravitate towards the right ear. Im fairly certain this was by design to not kill you.

Helmet is of decent quality, the instructions are the most unfriendly mess I have ever seen, the flipdown fighter pilot shield and modular front are awesome, and the battery/bluetooth module feel a little chinsy.

Allinall its what I expected. This isn't a 500$ helmet model, but I was hoping for just a bit more...but just a bit.

I got this helmet on sale for 129 for my wife and she loves it. It is her first helmet and first time using one with built in BT. I can tell the build quality is not top notch but the price more than makes up for it. I am waiting on the XL to go on sale and I will also be buying one for me. She uses the BT for music and says it dose fine. And can make calls easly up to about 50mph or so with no problem. We are on a cruser with no wind protection. I would say if you are a daily rider spend extra money on a better helmet but anything short of that I would recomend this helmet to anyone. We have had it for about a month and she has rode about 400 miles with me using it with no problems so far.

Love this helmet and the Bluetooth capability. No problems synching my iPhone or iPods. At normal highway speeds, the sound is just okay, but after making adjustments to the sound settings on my devices, it got better. However, anything above 50-60 mph, you won't be ale to hear much of anything. It is probably for the best anyway, since listening to music or talking on the phone doing 100 mph on the highways in Europe might not be the best thing to do. It is a good looking helmet and the modular design is very nice.

Unfortunately I waited to long to sent back, the clear visor is cracking and the hinge is way to hard to move and it leaks to much air, it's loud. And as James said, if it rained on me, it would Probably leak water, Too. It's fine around town, Ya get what you pay for. DO NOT BUY THE VCAN MODULAR HELMETS.
