The original USB cable that Apple gives you when your buy your iPhone is merely passable to get the job done, which is odd considering the quality and construction of the device it's paired with. The one that came with the iPhone, the cable by the base of the USB port frayed and came undone after 3 months of use and was promptly replaced with this Belkin cable. It is thick and strongly constructed and have had it for over 2 years without any issue.

First of all the title of this is seller is misleading

if you read below, they are selling the cable, the charger is being sold separately.
I had mine (purchased cable and charger) a very short time when I noticed my ipod was not charging. The connection to the charger is loose and needs to be pushed in snugly when connecting, watch your ipod to make sure it is charging. Disappointing to leave it charging for hours, come back and find it is not charged and the connection needs to be pushed in more firmly again. Once set up, don't jostle it.
I saved a few bucks buying Belkin over Apple... not worth it if the Apple charger is a better quality.
Other than that problem, it works fine and is now over three years old.

I was expecting the thin cables for most iPods Classic but this was like thick gauge wire! I go through a few cables because they are thin and fragile.But by the looks and feel of these (Bought 2ea) I am happy and they were a LOT cheaper than what i was paying before 20$+ at some stores. 6$ dollars come on you can't beat that!

They've changed the picture, but when I bought it it looked like a regular current gen cord and I get it and it was the dinosaur cable haha but it still works perfectly. Also it's longer than I thought it would be, now I don't worry about my cord breaking because it is so thick.

The only issue is if I have a case I have to take it off because it is more bulkier than the original Iphone cable. If it is bring charge in the car it goes in and out but if it is plug in the wall no problem at all.
