I bought two of these in January and installed them in an APC Back-UPS RS 1500. Everything worked as expected for months. Two weeks ago, when the UPS I installed them in ran a battery self test, the two PCs attached rebooted and I lost a recording that was in progress. This week the red Replace Battery light on the UPS lit up and it started beeping. I got almost exactly 9 months of use out of these batteries. Not what I was expecting when I bought them.

Purchased to replace the ones on my APC Back Ups NS 1250. Cost half the price of APC. Works like it should. Used double sided tape to hold them together like the original and also reused the connector. Nothing extra to purchase.

The terminals were bent or broken on both batteries when received. I do not believe this was caused in shipping

I have the APC xs-1300 system in my office computer system. Got the exide battery number of EP1234W off the origianal battery pair. Amazon search lead me to this product.

To replace the entire unit with something new will be at least $150 to $200.

However; remove the bottom cover and the two batteries pictured in the ad slide out; save the jumper cable; re-install the new batteries and away you go....(to be safe draw a little diagram before you pull all the wires off their terminals so you don't cross wire anything)

Grand total: two batteries, Amazon prime: point, click, shows up at the door for $38 TOTAL for TWO Batteries.!!!.
