This is a great little charger for small lead acid batteries. I bought this to go with a power sonic 5Ah battery. The only downside is that it is not designed to charge the battery while a load is present. My application has a 100mA load drawing from the battery 24/7 and unfortunately that causes this charger to switch back to "fast charge" mode even after the battery is fully charged. Its not the fault of the charger because the datasheet clearly says you cannot do this. I suspect with a small enough load it still may be possible.

I got this to charge a SLA battery I use for a portable powdered speaker system. The charger works perfectly. I have bought items from this company before; I would buy from them again. Fast shipping.
