Buy DROK Mini USB Car 12V to 5V Power Supply DC Buck Volt Convert 8-22V
This little product saves a lot of the extra work of powering a mini usb device. I used it for GPS power. I hooked it into the scooter's horn wiring so that when the ignition was on the GPS was powered automatically. My suggestion is to do this as opposed to a cigar lighter outlet on scooters where the front wiring is easily accessible. Simple device, simple install and great result. In the future with the right adapter at the end I expect to be able to power up a cell with it as well. Then the GPS continues on it's own battery backup while It guarantee my phone needs.
