Hey all, I have this and got one for my Hubby and we hate it. You have to really hold or keep steady for it to charge because as soon as you release, it will shift then make a noise to alert you it stopped charging. It's kinda like old school headphones with a short in the wire and you can only hear if you hold/ crimp wires a certain way only this problem is not in the wiring, it's in the piece that connects the wire to the phone. Shifty. ANNOYING! I hate to say it but spring for a new one form the carrier and leave these cheapies alone. More work and frustration than what it is worth. Th eone day my phone was dying and I was trying to use my gps, I was ready to chuck it out of the window! you ever have to drive, follow gps, and hold a wire in place and not let it move all while praying to God the wire doesn't shift a final time causing your phone to die and leaving you stranded on a scary rd in the middle of no where?
