I purchased this because I use multiple phones. Upside it does charge all the different batteries I have. It changes sizes to adapt to different batteries and does so easily. There probably are a few cell phone battery sizes it can't adapt to but it does my BB, Motorola and Samsung. Downside is moving the contacts to the correct positions. Even though you are supposed to be able to put the battery in and make sure one contact is on negative and one is on positive and it will charge this always isn't the case. I have had to flip the battery sometimes and then it will work. It has a light that changes color when the battery is charged but if the battery is almost charged and you are just "topping" off it may already show blue/charged when you put it in. On a couple occasions this has happened and when I popped the battery in it's device it had never fully charged. This charger is a good back up if you have more than two different types of batteries you need to charge but if you only have one or two devices stick with spare chargers for that battery. It loses a star for not charging a battery that is almost full to it's capacity. (sometimes) It loses a star for showing that a battery is charged when you put it in even though you know it is 88%. I like it but there is a margin for error that makes it only 3 stars.

I was skeptical when I bought this but since the price was low I decided what the heck lets try it. It does not come with instructions but none are needed. Just position the little prongs so they will contact the + and terminals on the battery and let it do its thing. When you first put the battery in, the red light will come on. After 20 seconds it goes back off unless you plug it in. When the battery is charged the Blue light comes on. It is a very simple no frills device that works well. In fact it works so good that I am getting another one to keep at work and instead of plugging in my phone, I will just change out batteries.
