The 30 pin and Micro USB charger is convient because it combines both chargers in one. The cords coil when not in use reducing tangling yet are not so tight that the pull a device out of your hands. This unit charges my I Phone 4S in 2 1/2 hours from 5% to 100% and my I Pad in 6 hours from 5% to 100 %. These times are consistant with a 115 volt wall charger. The charger puts out plenty of power to charge from both cords at the same time. I have used the micro USB for my Kindle and my daughters Android with no compatability issues.

The 30-pin connector supplies 2.1 amperes, which is the same charging current available to the iPad using Apple's wall adapter. With this, you can charge your 30 pin iPad in the car at the same speed as the Apple wall adapter.

If you have an iPhone with a 30-pin connector, it will charge at one ampere. This is the same rate and speed as the Apple adapter.

If you have two iPhones, or an iPhone and an iPad, you can charge both simultaneously with a USB/30 pin adapter, also by Lemnar and sold by Battery World:

If you're like me you're always looking for the perfect peripheral to power your portables. And if you have more than one regular device you probably have a bag of plugs and cables to carry along. Enter this little beauty. There are three purchase options for this automobile charger, one of which suits me perfectly. I use a non smart phone with a micro usb charger port and an older ipod with the standard big 30pin ipod plug. THis option is a relatively small cigarette lighter plug with two hard wired cables, one for each of my devices. There is nothing that can disconnect, be misplaced, get lost or whatever. It stays in place. It charges my devices (pretty quickly too). It is exactly what I needed.
