I used the Solio Classic on a a study abroad trip. I used it to charge my iPod, a camera, and someone else camcorder during the trip. It was a life saver, since I often needed my iPod to look up maps and such, and there really wasn't anywhere to charge, nor would I want to stay still for a few hours to let my devices charge. I made a simple strap to hold the Soliio open outside of a carrier bag, and let it charge while walking around when not in my apartment.
I've heard complaints of the Solio dying out quickly, or not being able to take a charge after a few charging sessions, but I haven't run into these issues. The Solio does take a surprising amount of time to charge on USB (make sure to charge to full capacity on USB when you first get the Solio), other than that I haven't had any issues.
