I have a 3 year old Garmin nuvi 885T, and the battery started to slow down, so I thought I'd order a replacement. Right price, quick shipping, arrived in perfect condition. That's the good news. I put the new battery in my GPS and charged while driving. I parked and pressed the 'Stay On' icon when I was at the grocery store for 20 minutes. Got a 'Battery Power Low' on my return. I could get it 3/4 charged according to GPS meter, but even when driving, it would not charge fully and ran down rapidly. In frustration, I put in the old battery, which charged fully and lasted lots longer than the 'new' battery. I am going to return this battery if I am able, otherwise will toss it. I don't know if I got a lemon or if the manufacturer just doesn't make a good battery. Guess next time I'll go with a more expensive OEM battery. You get what you pay for???
December 12, 2012 update: I never returned the replacement batter I ordered , and ended up ordering another battery from this seller. It arrived quickly and has worked perfectly since I installed it. I guess the previous purchase was a lemon. I am happy with the new one. By the way, I received a belated comment from the seller after I posted my review offering to exchange or refund. I'd tossed the receipt and didn't bother, but I was pleased that they at least made the offer.
