I love this car charger! I can adjust the cord to just the length I need, and then retract it when I'm not in the car for easier storage. The tip will fit most smartphones, as I purchased this for my old Samsung Captivate and it works on my new Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket.

It worked great until.....

It has a powerful spring and when you push the retract button the cord shoots in at near light speed. One day I lost control over the cord and when it retracted it jumped the spool and wouldn't re-deploy. I took it apart and got the cord fixed but broke a wire trying to put it together due to needing at least 3 hands to hold everything in place. Needless to say its cheap price quickly made it a candidate for the round file.

**Update** (7 Sep 10) Reported defect to supplier and they sent a replacement charger for free. New charger works perfect. Very happy with product. Thank you Amazon.

Bought this version due to the retractable aspect. Fast delivery time. But this product is flawed. The charger works fine, it's the input end to the phone, input is not a solid connection, falls out, the input is fatter than the standard Samsung wall charger. (WHY?) Returning this charger.
