I owned a Zune prior to my Walkman and with the OEM transmitter I always had static. With this little gadget, I never have static! There is a slight buzz you'll hear when there is no music playing but you cannot hear it when music is on. Even through different cities the music is clear and crisp. Couldn't be happier.
