I've purchased many brands and types of car chargers for my iPad and iPhone. This one is by far the most powerful. I can charge a DEAD iPhone to 100% in 50 min. iPad from 40% to 100% in 40 min. Don't know if this is unique but that's what mine does consistently. Absolutely love mine.
