As others stated, this item is different than the picture shows. I don't like it. I THINK it charges my player but am not sure. The light comes on red then blinks yellow. That can't be good. It definitely does not sync data to the YP-K3 which is disappointing... that's what I bought it for mainly. Trying again with an off-brand cable this time.

Solid piece, just didnt fix the charging problem that i had...but not the fault of this unit. My PMP died and power issues were elsewhere.TYVM

I ordered this cable to replace the one which came with my Samsung YP-T10JAB MP3 player. It appears to be a good quality cable and apparently charges my MP3 player but my laptop does not recognize the MP3 player as an external device when I plug it in. This cable will not let me manage any files on my MP3 player (only charge it) so I guess I need to get a different cable.
