Recently I needed to use my old (1999) lantern and it didn't light
properly. Thought a new battery was needed so ordered and received
a replacement. No instructions but by removing 4 screws in old
battery cover installation was easy.

I found an old battery powered lantern that belonged to my daughter (20 years ago). I decided to see if I could get it working for her to use in case of a power outage.
