Very good battery tester.

Thermo paper for ease of replacement, no ink to replace.

Reasonably accurate.

Test a variety of battery types.

Long lead, Some times too long to carry out systems test when battery in the rear etc.

Diode ripple test reasonably accurate.

This is our second one, the first one lasted 2.5 years.

Our usage is at least 5+ batteries tests daily 5 days a week.

I have only had a chance yo use it once. Had another garage test battery and said it was bad. Used my tester and said battery was ok. Let it sit overnight and next day tested again then it said was bad.

Need to use it a little more to see dependability. Other features seem to work well.

I needed a tester that could handle several types of batteries and a charging system. I have 9 batteries I need to keep tabs on. I can't give an indepth analyses of the machine but it has given me the results I need. I recently had two problem batteries. I tested them with the Solar then took them to three local auto parts stores to compare their test. They were the same as my Solar.
