OK I finally was able to get out there and set these up with my solar battery maintainers only to find the polarity is BACKWARDS on theses from all my solar panels? I know I could just cut the wires and reverse the polarity but I should not have to. Guess I am eating ANOTHER shipping charge from Amazon when I return these and lose my super saver shipping

I'm using this with a 3 stage 1A smart charger that's usually connected to my motorcycle to maintain the battery of a late model car that's not driven very often. Much easier and safer than attaching directly to the battery.. or running a dedicated circuit for the charger.

This is a brilliant device! It can maintain the battery as well. My batter is mounted in a trunk box that requires removing several nuts to access the battery.. now I can just plug this in.. nice!
