I have a 1kw system on the roof. This Charge controller is able to handle the capsids with out a problem. I like that it is 12v or 24v, The wire connection point are well insolated and easy to use. I have not had to retighten them like I have had to do with other products. The display shows the battery power when connected. The back light is nice but uses a lot of battery life at night. To me having the light on is not worth the energy that it uses, again the display is easy to read with the light off. The real question is would I buy another one? Yes. It is a nice unit that has flexibility and gives the user options while setting up the solar system.I have ordered several of these units. This unit arrived in a plastic sandwich bag and the white case was badly sun yellowed and scratched up.
