I was sent a charger meant for someone else for their Samsung phone. When I emailed support to return it and get the correct charger, I was told they just sent the wrong packing slip even though I told them the product numbers matched on both the packing slip and the item. Tried again and was told the charger was computable with my phone. They did not want to take the charger back. Finally sent me a return address, but told me I would be responsible for postage. I would rate this reseller a zero (0) but the ratings will not go that low. The car charger broke within 5 & 1 /2 weeks. It worked fine before it broke, it's very cheaply made and did not hold together.

I have most of power travellers solar chargers and this is the best to date.
it is super light weight and best suited to charging smart phone sized items, it will give a half charge to a full sized ipad device, but not full. I find that because it is all inclusive with the battery it is more suited to throwing in a bag or back pack reducing cables and complexity of having a stand alone battery pack, If you want to charge up an ipad get the extreme with the bigger battery..

I actually had to buy this twice. The first time I bought it the cover was kind of a snap-on ... and it snapped off one day while riding. Didn't realize it until I got home. It cost way less then and I wish I'd glued it down. It works very well and is visible in all light conditions. I think Kuryakyn bought out the original product to add to their line, so it went from $24 to $40. I managed to get it on Amazon for $30, so not entirely complaining.
It's compact (about an inch and half), has a self-stick foam bottom and works well on my basic black dash. I drilled a small hole for the wiring underneath.
Oh, yeah, I'd highly recommend this black one over the chrome if you don't want some shiny object reflecting the sun in your face. The point is to see the LEDs, right? Not be blinded by reflected light. I use it to make sure my accessories are not taking me out of the green zone.

I've had one of these for a while; it is definitely readable during the day and at night. It's a good-looking unit, easy to hook up, and accurate.Every bike should have at least one. Buy Vector VEC010S 300 Amp Jumpstarter
This is a nice unit for starting cars, as noted below. But it may be too small for some other 12-volt applications. The lighter-socket outlet will shut off if you exceed 5 amps of continuous draw, and the unit can only store a few "amp/hours" of power. If you need something for overnight use or to do much more than charging a cell phone, you might need a larger unit.
It works fine for starting cars, though. This appears to be identical to the Vector VEC010BD, which sells under the Black and Decker label. B&D has more recognition, I've seen this one (the Vector brand) at some auto supply shops, as well as here on Amazon. So you get the same product, no matter what the label or where you get it.
My neighbor had one of these, and I borrowed it several times to start my car, which was otherwise totally dead. It worked perfectly, even when the unit wasn't fully charged. So I bought my own, charged it overnight as per the instructions, three hours past the blinking green. (Note: the brief manual is very well written, and should be easy to follow.)
For some reason my car would not start right up, as it had the other times with my neighbor's jump starter. The car turned over and over, but wouldn't kick in, and the effort drew down the jump starter's cranking power completely.
The instructions tell you to wait a little when this happens, so I did. After a few minutes, I turned it back on, tried again, and the car started. I don't think it was a matter of a flooded engine, which one might suspect. Just a curious sort of process.
I recharged the Vector unit completely again, and the next time I needed to jump the car, it was instantaneous. I performed multiple jumps without needing a new charge. So, I don't know whether there is anything special about the first time, because every other time I've used it, it has been great.
If you do want it mostly for jump starts, and do not expect to need it as an "emergency power" source for long hours, or to run any kind of serious appliance, it is a fine choice.
With this jump box I have figured out what works best to keep the unit charged and working well.
I am a mobile mechanic and I use this jump box frequently for work and more so for jumping my neighbors junky cars all the time.
Simply put, when the box needs charged, you press the charge LED display to see how much juice it has the plug it in overnight or for a few hours during the day.
If you treat it right it will treat you right.....for years.
Sadly after roughly ten years of service my box gave me its first major disappointment although no fault of its own....I left the negative cable loose on the box instead of wrapping it up and hooking it to its keeper post and during transport got crushed and now my negative clamp is totally busted so I can't hook it to anything so looks like I will have to replace it instead of taking it apart.
I could fix it possibly but I think I should retire the old girl.
Just a couple things I never liked bout this box.
1. The cheap LED light never did get very bright to see much plus the switch never worked well from day one...you have to thrash the switch back and forth until you find a happy spot where it actually stays on.
2. The LED charge display check button did not work too well after a couple months....you really have to mash the button down to get it to make a good enough contact to read the charge level so to fix this I just plug it in to charge every few days depending on usage.
3.if the charging clamps were not made of plastic but instead metal or beefy aluminum I think this box would outshine many other boxes and I would not be replacing this unit.
All in all this box has lasted me approximately 10 years and my only major complaint is due to my own negligence.
Advice to keep this box working well.....check the charge level and keep it charged up since it is not magic and will not maintain itself.
You can't expect to charge it then expect it to work six months later the first time you need it.....this is a working mans jump box and of you want to be prepared you have to make sure your tools are maintained.
The manual also says, "AC Recharge system is an automatic taper charge and be left connected to the main unit for long periods." Maybe this means you can leave it plugged into the charger indefinitely. I was unable to get clarification from the 800 number (see below).
I tried to call 800-544-6986 to find out if there was any chance that the battery could be replaced. Black and Decker transferred me to Baccus Global maker of Black and Decker and Stanley products. Their greeting noted that they no longer provide parts for any Vector branded products. The call was dropped before I was able to speak to anyone. I didn't call back.
Make sure you understand the maintenance requirements before buying this product. It's not something you can leave in the trunk or on the shelf for 12 months at a time.
I would not buy another Vector Jump-Start System or recommend this product to anyone.
If you are looking to keep your celly charged up while camping I recommend finding a camping spot out of cell range. Otherwise, charge your celly off of your car. If your car dies you can use this to get car going again.
By the way, I have the older, orange version of this, with the 12vDC output/input.

If you are considering the Vector VEC010S you should know that you will have to recharge it regularly. The manual says, "Vector recommends that the battery is recharged at least every 60 days." This thing rides around in the back of the SUV and does a lot of bouncing around. Very tough. I originally bought it for the boat. Yes it worked for that, that was like 4 years ago. I have only charged it up like twice in all these years. It has always worked. Generally the battery level will show 2 lights. I used it like 8 mos ago for some nice old guy in a parking lot at middle school. I am happy to not have been embarrassed. I had to use it the other day for myself. Worked like a charm, and no, I never charged it up after helping the guy at middle school. I have a 1kw system on the roof. This Charge controller is able to handle the capsids with out a problem. I like that it is 12v or 24v, The wire connection point are well insolated and easy to use. I have not had to retighten them like I have had to do with other products. The display shows the battery power when connected. The back light is nice but uses a lot of battery life at night. To me having the light on is not worth the energy that it uses, again the display is easy to read with the light off. The real question is would I buy another one? Yes. It is a nice unit that has flexibility and gives the user options while setting up the solar system.I have ordered several of these units. This unit arrived in a plastic sandwich bag and the white case was badly sun yellowed and scratched up.

Easy to set up; maintains and desulfates batterries. I've always used the Battery Minder during storage my car battery is 10 years old and still works like new!
The first one I purchased was the 12 volt charger. I swap between mower/boat batteries throughout the winter months. When spring arrives and its time to start mowing, I simply reinstall the batteries and they are fully charged ready to go.
I purchased a 6 volt version for the 1952 Ferguson TO30 tractor this fall. My 6 volt tractor battery was tested when at 10 below zero I had to move the tractor, it started without hesitation.

These chargers also De-sulfate batteries, sulfation is the major life-shortening cause of older batteries. WILL increase the life of any battery if used consistently.

This product has revived 3 batteries so far! The batteris would only hold 4.4 volts or so at first and then after a while on this thing they are holding 6.5V+ The only thing that is an issue is that the automatic "desulphation" button doesn't work unless the batteries have over 5.5 or so volts. To bypass this i wire a good battery in with the old one to get the charger to "see" enough voltage to go into desulphation mode, then i will disconnect the good battery and let this thing work away. Received it and got it hooked up to my Model A battery. Apparently I had the leads reversed, as switching them made the correct light appear. After the 24-hr or so mentioned in the manual, the green light began blinking, indicating all is well.The full test will be when I go to fire the old car up in the Spring.

Either the name of this item on Amazon is incorrect, or the seller made a mistake and shipped me the wrong item. I'm in the process of getting in touch with the seller, and I'll revise this review appropriately after I have a chance to talk with them.

I bought this product because I was looking for a Mini USB Car Charger. I thought that's what I would be getting when I bought this product because it's titled as so... But, no, it's a regular USB car charger. The worst part about it is this companies return policy. I have to pay to ship it back which will most likely end up costing me what it was to buy the product in the first place. The Charger is a good product and has a unique blue light that lets you know it is charging. The problem is thet it works with my tmobile "Dash" PDA but is does not work with the motorola V360 phone I bought it for. So, it works for a different manufacturer HTC, but not the motorola phone it is supposed to work for. I will call the shipper and find out is it designed for this phone or was it the wrong product shipped like the comment made earlier!! I bought the adapter to work with a Qi wireless charger for my Galaxy s3. As a clumsy person, I use cases for my phone of the *ahem* industrial variety. I break phones, I drop them, I drown them. I use strong protective cases.
The adapter slipped under my stock backplate of my phone. It was very easy to put in place, but the "sticky" strip on the adapter wasn't sticky. Doesn't matter with how tight it is under the backplate of my phone. The problem is that it makes the back bow out slightly, so it's not as sleek as without it. Since I keep my phone in a case, it didn't matter at the time.
The phone fit wonderfully in my Otterbox Defender case that I have for my phone. The added bulk didn't affect the fit of the case at all. The problem that I found was with my new LifeProof case. The LifeProof cases have a clear back to show off the color. The added bulk under the backplate caused the clear portion to rub on the back of the phone, creating a grey area. PURELY cosmetic, but this case didn't fit as well as it could have because of the extra bulk.

The product is exactly as advertised. It will take your S3 and make it compatible with wireless charging.It takes about 5 minutes to set it in correctly and snap the cover back on. As stated, the factory cover will fit perfectly on the back. However, while most people have said they don't notice the hump, I do. It's not a game stopper by any means. But it's clearly there. I used to rest my phone on speaker on my keyboard and now it won't sit there anymore. It slides away. Kind of annoying, but not the end of the world.
The phone can get hot while charging, but I'm not concerned about it at all.
My major gripes are that it doesn't always make that 'ding' noise when first placed on the charger. Whether that is an Android issue or a device issue doesn't matter, it hinders the overall experience. Second, along with the ding, it stops charging and starts charging throughout the night, so sometimes it dings several times in the night, and it's loud enough that it can be heard and/or wake you up. This can be fixed by turning notification volume off at night, but, once again, it's about hindering the overall experience. (Just for reference I ended up making a Tasker setting that fixed the problem)
In the end, do I like my purchase? Yes, the product does what it claims to do and the price was really good. However, understand that wireless charging isn't exactly wireless, inductive charging is the better term. Sure it's nice to just lay things down, but then again you have to be pretty exact with your placement. When furniture or cars start to come with built in charging pads, then this will have a lot more tangible value.

I originally fabricated my own Wireless charger for my S3 using an old pixi palm, but it did not work well. Wish I would have found this sooner. Be careful to install this correctly with the 2 gold contacts. Does NOT make the back of the phone bulge. It works with any QI charger, in fact it works better with my wife's Nokia wireless charger than the aftermarket QI I bought. Another great thing is I have the Verizon Belt Clip Shell Holster Cover Case+Stand on my phone and it charges through it! you do not need to take it off, just set it on the charger. Needed new battery for motorcycle and this delivers. Figure $90+ for a good gel battery why not get this with 3 year warranty, and if you take care of it you're looking at possibly 7 years of life. One thing that is a minor annoyance is the terminals are opposite of what I needed. I installed battery facing inboard to have terminals on proper side. A little tight to make connections but it works. I don't know if it is available with in a + configuration vs the + I got. If it is I didn't see it during the ordering process of the battery.

Long story short, I more or less got one of the few (if not the only) dud from the factory line. The battery would not start my bike (2002 Yamaha R1) in the cold mornings no matter how many cranks it produced. To its credit, it kept cranking the bike like a champion no matter how many times and how long I held the starter button down. But it wasn't until the temps got up just enough from the morning that the bike would start. I swapped the old lead acid battery back on the bike, and I never had the problem again.Ballistic Performance has been outstanding in their customer service via email and phone. Ultimately, I returned the battery to the local store I purchased it from, and Ballistic made sure that the retailer shipped the battery to them immediately for testing. Ballistic kept me updated throughout via email, leading to the same conclusion that while the battery passed all metering tests with flying colors, it did have intermittent problems in starting their bike (Aprilia Tuono).
I rated the product Four Stars at this point due to Ballistic Peformance's outstanding customer service, and for a very well-finished product. Despite the faulty starting performance of the battery, it was clearly well-constructed and finished, and is truly a very lightweight replacement to the standard lead acid batteries. I couldn't give it Five Stars due to my luck of the draw, but I wouldn't hesitate to try Ballistic Performance again when I'm ready to have another go at it.

This battery has left me stranded every time it got below 50 degree. The company said that this was normal for this battery in the cold. They now say it is for Race Only and Not for Cold Conditions for my bike.They would not refund my money. So much for that 3 year warranty!! After installing the ballistic battery it was evident that I needed the 12 cell battery. the 8 cell just didn't have enough juice to start the bike. It actually did start it twice but that was it. I have a 1000cc Aprilia, any how I sent ballistic an email explaining the situation and they sent me the 12 cell battery no charge. Pretty darn nice outfit. The 12 cell works great!! I bought a 8 cell for my CBR1000RR with a host of additional electronics, including an alarm, Dynojet fuel injection module, quickshifter, a gear position indicator and a wired-in radar detector connection.So my bike draws more than a stock CBR1000RR does.I got my battery very quickly in the mail, and was excited to install it. I was dismayed to find it would not crank like it did with the stock battery, but the weight saving was incredible. I thought my charging system might be bad on the bike.
So I ordered the balancing charger from Ballistic to optimize my battery and as soon as I hooked it up, the problem was obvious. Two of the 8 cells were not registering any voltage at all. I called Ballistic, spoke to the president on his cell phone, and he was awesome.
He immediately apologized (but hey, I understand; things like this happen occasionally) and sent me out a new one just as fast as he hung up with me complete with tracking number. That is great customer service!
One thing to remember; this 8-cell battery started my bike on only 6 cells every time. I am fully confident that the replacement will be fine and the Ballistic Balancing Battery Charger will allow you to see exactly what each cell is doing. A stock battery with a dead cell would have left me stranded.
I highly recommend this battery, it gave me more room in my battery box to relocate my alarm module there and free up precious space under the passenger seat. If you had an '05 CBR1000RR with an underseat exhaust you would know exactly what I meant!

I could use a slightly longer cord but because I have a charger in the front of my vehicle, it's really not required. It's as powerful as if I'm plugged into an outlet at the house.
