Usually these battery are good performers and typically last a long time, an average of 3 to 4 years.. This battery provided by the seller was defective. I tried contacting the seller but I haven't received a response. I ended up paying my alarm company for a service plus the price of a new battery. When you order a battery online make sure you check the voltage immediately. If you get anything under 12v it‘s defective!! Plus, make sure you order from a responsible seller that backs their products!! I learned my lesson!!!

My home security system started to beep every so often and a yellow trouble light indicated something was wrong let me know...well..that something was wrong! ;-) I have a DSC annunciator that blinks for code...rather basic...but figured it out that the battery was probably bad. So I read many reviews and thought the price and quality of this battery were perfect. This one is rated at 5amp per hour versus my old battery that was 4 or 4.5 per hour. I'm a bit compulsive and when you shop for a replacement for anything you usually want to err on the safe side...get the same color etc. Well, this one isn't black like the others! LOL ...but it works great and the price was among the very best I could find. Fast shipping, nicely packaged, low price....installed and working fine...works for me!
