I installed the switch to provided uninterupted service between my Honda 3000 EU and my Magnum 2800 watt inverter.
The switch has worked flawlessly for nearly three years, providing uninterupted power when the generator shuts down.
I have observed no chatter or RF problems with this switch, and it works fine in any position.
The only complaint I have is that the case is a bit weak, however it is rated for indoor use only so this was not a problem during installation.
If you are looking for a 30 amp transfer switch that holds up well to time and nameplate ratings at a reasonable cost, consider this switch.
P.S. I don't have information on the contact reps before failure but I installed one of these in a friends house to switch his Trace 2000 inverter over 10 years ago and he tells me that it still works fine. (So does the inverter)

I needed a simple cost effective and safe way to transfer automatically between my PV battery based system and my utility supply. At pre-set battery levels my inverter will shut down and this Go-Power TS-30 amp switch will automatically transfer my sub panel loads to the utility supply, until my battery levels come up the next day from the PV panels charging the system.Transfer speed is fast in switching from utility power to PV system power with all connected devices holding up during transfer. However in switching from PV system to utility power there is a transfer lag and some sensitive devices like cable boxes will drop out (a small UPS solved this problem).
A solidly build device that does the job it was designed for, ensure you use the correctly size transfer switch either the TS 30 amp or TS-50 amp. to handle your load requirements.

Works as advertised. Can't anything better about it. I'd buy it again.I love the time delay when shore/generator power is plugged in. I love the fact it will disconnect my generator if the generator's output voltage gets low.

It's a DPDT relay plus a time delay.The output pair is connected to the switching movement.
That's connected either to the (normally closed) input pair, or if the other input pair is energized it closes the relay to connect the output pair to itself, after a 30 second delay.
Thus the latter input is selected if it's energized, and if not then the former input is selected.
There's a bus strip to screw the ground leads from all three connections to.
If you're getting leads by amputating one end of short 3-foot 12 gauge extension cords, some way to stabilize the cord where it enters knockouts in the box would be nice.
A preassembled M-M-F cord version would be nice.
