On a suggestion of another camera system owner that had a power charger that required the use of a power cord, I got these. They are the PERFECT answer to eliminating the use of the cord. Simply plug one end into the power charger and the other into a wall socket and the charger with the light on the side showing charging can also be seen. No space whatsoever required compared to an annoying cord and much easier to transport on a vacation or event.

This adapter replaces an electrical cord weighing several times more. It's small, light and inexpensive. Strong enough to hold my Nikon battery and charger while plugged into a horizontally mounted recepticle.

I use this with a camera battery charger. The charger came with a 6 foot cable. This takes up a lot less room in my bag. Highly recommended.
