i was on the hunt for a car charger for my ipad and ipod. thoguht they would require different adapters given the wall charge output difference. I suppose i didn't think of the factthat the car output is slightly different. I have compared this with a tru Apple part (35.00) and i saw absolutely no difference. This adapter is perfect for long car trips or for a quick charge. And i can keep two defices plugged in at the same time.
