Only buy these chargers directly from Amazon ("ships from and sold by Amazon"), NOT from private Amazon sellers. There's a reason you'll see a Belkin listed for $15 or $25 from Amazon and the "same" charger for $2.00 from a private Amazon seller. They're cheaply made counterfeits that'll either not work right out of the box, or break after just a week or so of use. Suck it up and pay for a real Belkin, you won't be sorry. A few more things to watch out for:
1 AMP chargers are almost useless. They won't charge your phone at all if it's under heavy load, and under ideal circumstances (phone is turned off) they'll charge it very, very slowly. About the same rate you get when it's plugged in to a computer's USB port.
Android users do not buy chargers that say "made for iPhone." Most, if not all of these chargers are wired in such a way that they will not allow your Android phone to charge as efficiently as it should.
This 2 AMP Belkin charger is perfect. I use it for my Nexus phone, and it does a fantastic job. On my drives to and from work I run the screen at full brightness, run a GPS app, Bluetooth is on, run a music app, and take calls. My phone always has a net charge by the time I arrive. Awesome.
It's attractive (for a charger), is very well made, and seems pretty rugged. The only con I can think of is the little charging light. It's a wee bit bright at night. I found it distracting enough that I had to cover it. This is a must-have accessory for Android users.

I love this thing. The light isn't as bright as other reviewers have noted (in my opinion) and you can always flip it upside down so the light is on the bottom (it's the little circle at the top) and then the usb cord blocks it for the most part.It worked great to charge iphone and ipad. Haven't tried charging anything else yet, but I assume any usb cord should work.
It was also wonderful when we traveled internationally because we did not need to purchase a power adapter, we just charged our things while driving around in the rental car. So easy!
