Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The Belkin charger itself is nicely constructed and easy to hold for inserting and removing from the socket. I like the tapered body and the soft rubber green strip that aids grip. The charger worked fine with my iPad I'm not equipped to measure its actual power output, but I have no reason to believe it doesn't meet its spec.

The cable is a fairly typical-looking Lightning cable. I like that the Lightning end is almost the same size as Apple's, so it won't have issues with some cases as some other cables, such as the Amazon Basics, can. I also like that it's four feet instead of the usual three.

I knocked off half a star for there being no LED to indicate that it is powered. Nearly all third-party chargers I have used have such an LED. Also, the AC prongs are fixed and don't fold.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The Belkin cord is 1 foot longer and has a heavier cable cover. The lightening plug grip is a little wider and longer and is matte plastic instead of Apple's glossy so it is easier to plug in and unplug. The power adapter is sleek and compact; 1-1/8" wide x 2-1/8" long x 1-3/4" deep including the plug. There is a silicone ring around the face that provides a more secure grip.

Overall I prefer using the Belkin charger over the Apple. The only feature I wish Belkin added was a folding plug so it would a smaller profile for traveling with.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program What can I say? It's a lightning cable that works just as you'd expect it to do. The wall charger is a bit bigger than the OEM cube that comes with your iOS device but it works consistently. I think it may even charge a bit faster than the ones that came with iphone. But for the price, I'm not sure why you wouldn't just buy the Apple charger or the cheaper Amazon branded lightning cable which work great for me.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The Belkin Home and Travel Wall Charger is a nice unit with one minor issue.

First the good: The USB cable is very sturdy, and is thicker than the Apple cord. It charges my devices very quickly. It is reasonably small for travel. Though, it is larger than the Apple travel charger, it doesn't block the second plug in a standard outlet. I have a lifeproof case on my iPhone and the lightning connector fits easily, though a tiny bit snug, which I don't find to be an issue. Lastly, the lightning adapter cable is 4 feet long, which is about a foot longer than the OEM Apple cable.

The slightly less than good: The large bezel around the lightning adapter may not fit into certain cases. The blades on the wall adapter don't fold in; it would be more convenient if they did.

Lastly, the price. Though it is about the same cost as an Apple adapter, I think most people expect a non-OEM product should be at least a little cheaper. But I have to say, the few issues, aside, I would pay for this adapter over the Apple adapter should I ever have to make that choice.
