I ordered two of these chargers (one for each car).
One of the charges was defective so I emailed the vendor. They replied to me within 24 hours and indicated they would immediately send a new unit, and advised me to throw way the charger that did not work.

I think I paid about four or five dollars for this charger, but I, too, thought how could I go wrong. Well, if a thing doesn't work, it's wrong. First off, though seemingly advertised as a Samsung product, it is not a Samsung product. It came bubble wrapped in an envelope with no manufacturer identification. The mini USB plug on mine did not fit securely into my phone and would continuously lose contact. It did not fit/connect at all into a friends micro-USB phone.Today I called Amazon, who directly connected me by phone with the seller, Newyorkcellphone. I was offered the choice of a new charger or refund. I couldn't trust that the manufacture of another one of these chargers would be any better than the first one, so I'm taking the refund. Good customer service by both Amazon and Newyork. As I've read, and discovered with a couple of these accessory purchases, there seem to be a lot of poorly made knockoff products and some "kitchen table" sellers(not Newyorkcellphone). Beware.
