Plugged into iphone data connect, tried to unplug it, the cable end came apart. the part connected to iphone stayed. super-glued it. plugged cig lighter end into car, fizzled right away and a puff of smoke. dead.It is as advertised. Charges phone in the car with the power outlet or USB outlet. It is constructed good.
