I had the same problem as the other reviewer--the plastic head broke after one year of intermittent use. Otherwise the charger served well.

Nice charger , worked well but eventually broke after 1 year when I retracted it. Retraction system snaps USB head against the charger body really hard and eventually the plastic USB head broke.

This charger has been working well and the retracting feature has not given any problems. Its very helpful to not have one more cord in the utility box of my car.
