Very bright, turns the tracer dye yellow looking instead of green. Have had other uv lights that were battery powered but not very bright and batteries did not last very long. I find this flash light is brighter than our 120v uv light and brighter than our 12v vehicle powered uv light. You can buy cheaper----but this is definitely best bang for the buck!!!! Great price!!! Great product!!!

We use UV light in the automotive shop environment regularly for leak diagnosis. This is the brightest UV light I have seen. Useful tool even without glasses, but amazing with glasses. Would recommend to other mechanics.

Very bright light, the dye "pops" a lot more using this light than my old 12v UV dye light. You must use the glasses included with the kit to see dye. Rugged aluminum construction, I expect this light to last for several years.
